सर्लाही जिल्लाको कौडेना गाउँपालिका–२, इनर्वामा २०३८ साल असोजमा जन्मिएका डा. सरोज कुमार नेपाली कांग्रेसका एक प्रखर, बौद्धिक र साहसी युवा नेता हुन्। पेसाले चिकित्सक (डाक्टर) रहेका उनले चिकित्सा शास्त्रमा स्नातक (एमबीबीएस) तहको शिक्षा हासिल गरेका छन्। स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्रको व्यावसायिक अनुभवलाई समाज सेवा र राजनीतिसँग जोड्दै उनी अहिले सर्लाहीको राजनीतिमा एक परिवर्तनकारी अनुहारका रूपमा स्थापित छन्। विशेषगरी पार्टीभित्र गगन थापा लगायतका युवा नेताहरूको नेतृत्वदायी हस्तक्षेपसँगै नयाँ पुस्तालाई अवसर दिने क्रममा डा. सरोजको उम्मेदवारीलाई विशेष महत्त्वका साथ हेरिएको छ।
